Susan Baldino
Susan Davis Baldino is Arts4All Florida Regional Program Coordinator and teaches graduate seminars in museum studies at Florida State University. Her research focuses on inclusive learning in museums. She presented the University of Leicester inaugural doctoral lecture, “Museums and Autism: Creating Inclusive Learning Communities.”
Susan has been connected to the disability and cultural communities for four decades. She is a member of the University of Choice initiative at Florida State University, a charter member of Keys to Exceptional Youth Success, and former Chair of the Florida State University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities Constituency Board. She was appointed to the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, served as Chair of the Florida Association of Museums Foundation, President of the Tallahassee Museum, and trustee for the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra. She is Vice President of the St. George Island Lighthouse Association and is an active member of the LeMoyne Arts art review committee and 100 Women Who Care Tallahassee. She is the 2023 recipient of the Richard L. Puckett Leadership in the Arts Award.
Susan has curated twelve “Artists and Autism” exhibitions, most recently the 2023 “Artists and Autism: The Next Step” that celebrates the opening of NextStep at Endeavor Academy, a residential program for adults with autism. She is also co-curator for Arts4All Florida exhibitions including “Access, Opportunity, Inclusion” (FSU Museum of Fine Arts 2019); “Creating Connections” (Florida State Capitol 2020); “Forty for Forty” (Florida State Capitol 2021); and “Beloved Florida: Photographs by the Wheelchair Highwaymen” (Tallahassee Museum 2020).
