Next Steps to Our Goal

To move forward in establishing the A Kindred Village™ inclusive neighborhood, we have defined the following tasks:

• Educate local leaders, city administrators, and community members on the benefits for all in establishing inclusive housing

• Expand community connections by

  • Creating a bridge-building program to facilitate meaningful relationships with the greater community and University students and faculty

  • Offering social networking and educational opportunities for neighborhood residents and the broader community

  • Creating Circles of Support for families and individuals within the neighborhood

  • Establishing our One Kindred Roost, The Friendship Houses building connections for new residents

• Land Search Networking

• Seeking Philanthropic Organizations and Supporters
